THE SNAKE’S SKIN 46 day Indiegogo.com Jezebel Filmworks Fundraiser Ended 04/06/12
Phenomenal Community Support allows project to progress

SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THAT CONTRIBUTED

(On-line Contributions totaled – $6,440 dollars)

Hosanna! Giving THANKS to God for a life that’s filled with both abundant blessings and the infinite ability to allow struggles to turn in to challenges that make us stronger, wiser, humbler and apt to imagine our visions into fruition. It is evident that my wealth lies in my ancestry, family, friendships, acquaintances and comrades, who have believed, encouraged, empowered, and stimulated in me, what’s possible.

My grandparents never traveled on plane or a distance outside of their world of Louisiana and Texas; yet, the 109 contributors who donated to this project will allow their spirit to soar well beyond the heavens to people and places that see value in their lives, family memories and stories that will live on through the life of this documentary that you have given credence through with your support and well wishes. THANK YOU all for your support during this 46-day journey through this phase of my snake’s skin – It’s been very refreshing and renewing; a perfect segue to Easter and springtime.  Total funds raised on-line = $6,400.  -Ada M. Babino, Filmmaker

“I Don’ Been Through The Snake’s Skin and Come Out Clean” — is a very personal documentary on my Louisiana grandparents and the legacy that they passed on to three generations of my family. To have saved this video footage which was recorded over 25 years ago is a priceless treasure that allows the history of my maternal family to live on forever in my mind, heart and spirit.
I encourage everyone to talk to their elders, learn their history and pass it on to the next generation. There is so much to be learnt that will help to solidify your foundation, make you stronger and wiser. This communication also helps you to understand who you are and how to move forward in this thing called ‘life.’ It’s a phenomenal fete’ to move through the snake’s skin and come out clean.

Jezebel’s Creed

We create videos that give voice to the voiceless, value to the devalued, equity to injustice and color to the monochromatic. These are all characteristics that Jezebel deems necessary to reach a cultural pluralistic utopia in the video/film world.

We'd be honored to bring your next project to life!
