<p>The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 (screening and panel)<br />
Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary Black Power Mixtape 1967 &#8211; 1975 will be released in theaters nationwide on September 9th. The film examines the evolution of the Black Power Movement in the black community and Diaspora from 1967 to 1975. It combines music, startling 16mm footage (lying undiscovered in the cellar of Swedish Television for 30 years), and contemporary audio interviews from leading African-American artists, activists, musicians and scholars.</p>

Babino, an independent producer/director who has worked on a variety of projects over the past fifteen years.  Jezebel is open to produce an array of projects, however, its primary focus is to target programs that are uniquely from an African American perspective; works that counter stereotypes, make creative advancements, and are reflective of the vast experiences in the African Diaspora community. Through the assistant of granting agencies and community support, Jezebel Filmworks produces independent projects.  Their timeless docu-drama on hair entitled <em>Middle Passage –N- Roots</em> has aired on Showtime Networks and select PBS stations.  It has also screened at a number of domestic and international film festivals.</p>
